3D Assets in a 2D Game

3D Assets in a 2D Game

This is just a passion project which involved implementing the idea of combination across cross-functional design tools and software like Blender, Photoshop & Figma. The objective is to create unique UI for games - for fun!

The Challenge

The challenge was to seamlessly combine cross-functional tools (Blender, Photoshop, Figma) to create a cohesive and interactive 2D interface, while retaining the depth and personality of the original 3D work.

Hypothesis: We believe that by integrating 3D asset creation into the UI design workflow, we can develop visually distinctive and engaging game interfaces that stand out from typical flat UIs. If executed well, this cross-tool approach will result in more immersive and creative user experiences — even in a 2D environment.
